monfils@1.6
Monfils had huge troubles against DevVarman yesterday, a complete 50-50 match if you look at the stats, a LL from Qualifiyng who got bageled by Kevin Kim 2 weeks ago in Washington, if you have ever seen Somdev play, he is probably the only player on the tour that has less power then Kiki Rochus; no serious player should play tight matches against DevVarman;

De Bakker has a huge serve, 10 Aces against Lopez, he did not face a single bp, Feliciana is a terrible returner, but still;

Monfils is rusty coming from clay where he retired in his last match, this french mofo is injured 24/7, h2h is 1-1, De Bakker should have his chances today IMO...

Alla ricerca di un piccolo grande amore....

Re: Fasting nalby wednesday

Monfils over De Bakker - Monfils was a bit rusty in his last match and playing a grinder like devvarman is never going to suit his counter punching game, expect a comfortable victory over the dutchman.

Hanescu over Polansky - Victor finally gaining some confidence against an upcoming player in his last round, shouldn't have too much trouble with Polanksy.

Re: Fasting nalby wednesday

I think nobody thinks that De Bakker will have a easy day out there against Monfils. But if i look on the last matches, the huge service of de bakker, the poor returning of Monfils and the bad health of Monfils, i would have odds of about 50/50 for myself...but de Bakker had 2.7, so thats definetly value.
Look at the Odds...they are moving...its de Bakker 2.35 now on betfair. At the start of the match it will be around evens and the value is lost. I would not have taken de Bakker for under 2, but 2.7 is a must try.

Re: Fasting nalby wednesday

I'll be also taking Robredo tb Nalby. Dislike Boredo, but he played really nice against Niemo (yes I know Niemo is a mug) but Boredo had nice defence and good attack. Also counting on Nalby's fatigue. It is a long shot but worth a punt!

can't look it that way imo.devv is tougher match up for players like monfils than de bakker's type.

Monfils wasnt able to return properly against Devv for 90% of the match, how should he do against Bakker?
Thats the main point i think.
7-6 7-6 de Bakker very likely...
