I'm getting queued for the following star players ( though some of the odds are not what I'd like ):
Hernych @ 1.33
Benneteau @ 1.61
Kate Bondarenko @ 2.18
Vaidisova @ 1.45 ( risky but I nominate her over the other "has-beens" Hantuchova & Dokic )
Russell @ 1.79
Pironkova @ 2.30
Koryttseva @ 2.02
Pavlyuchenkova @ 1.46
Dent @ 1.41
Chardy @ 1.70
Dushevina @ 1.35
adding Calleri @ 2.06 due to the stats
Also among the possible(?) upsets today we might have:
Sela ( Hewitt is awful in Miami and Sela probably didn't try enough in the qualies knowing he was through anyway. Bad matchup for the has-been Aussie )
Gulbis ( I've lost hope with this idiot but a 3-0 against a mediocre Baghdatis is unnacceptable. Only if for the law of averages Gulbis can get one? Not putting a cent though )
Vandeweghe ( Vives withdrew from her match last week not to mention she had several long matches that all went to 3 sets ). Coco to upset her is possible.
Yakimova? ( 2 Bellarusians but Yakimova was in the qualies and played more matches while Govortsova wasn't. Also, some money are put on Yakimova as we speak.
NO - though the bitch could have EASILY won against a shaky player.
NO ( Pironkova choked as much as she could in that match after coming back from the brink, then wasting it TWICE from a comfortable position. She's just a hopeless case. )
NO ( Chardy was pathetic today )
NO ( don't know what happened there, quite an embarassment for her )
Calleri is doing well.
From the possible upsets, Sela still has a chance, Yakimova romped all over Govortsova, Gulbis had no chance and I didn't even say he had , and Vives was just fine, no slip ups.
In other words my fake picks did fine, especially if Sela can do it too.
