why not, I agree with you, betting on Ferrer is never easy, but at least you know he will fight untill the end, teh courts are very slow, that should not suit Roddick...

And it was also very impressive how he beat Chardy who was killing him in the 1st.

Re: Wicked Wednesday!!!!

Zvonareva, Federer,Djokovic,Nadal, combo @ 2

I know their opponents are respectable but any upsets at this stage of that calibre would be huge. all 4 are expected to win.

Isner +1.5 sets @ 1.90

Ferrer tb Roddick

I'm just waiting for the bookies to open all their lines to add the prices.
Waiting to see if I can get better than 2.62 on Ferrer now.

Re: Wicked Wednesday!!!!

Verdasco over Kohlschreiber and Andreev over Ljubicic EVS

Verdasco looks a real good thing but looking at the h2h their last meeting in Vienna verdasco didnt have one bp all match, that worries me, but on recent form Verdasco is miles ahead of the German

I see no reason for that at all..

I took Ljubo at my local bookie @2,45, amazing odds for sure, first of all the h2h; OK Andreev got a win against Tsonga, but Jo was far from his best, and nontheless he won more points, Andreev squeezed it out, Ljubo won't give him any rythm at all; SImon is an excellent returner and he couldn't do shit against Ljubo's sevre; if Ivan keeps serving like he did so far, he is the fave if you ask me, he will get his chances cause Andreev has his bad service games per set; everybody forgets that Ljubicic loves Indian Wells and this kind of surface suits him amazingly;

Ljubo hasn't had a good start for this year, but he played great against Tsonga at the AO, and could have gone far if he just had taken some of the numerous set points;

The serve is working like in the old days, bh slice is solid, the onehander is there when he needs it and it is a beautiful stroke, even the loopy forhand isn't as bad as it can be...

Andreev has been pure shit going in to IW, betting on Andreev on a hc when he is a fave, not very wise if you ask me.....
You make some very good points, but Simon was really bad against Ljubicic

Kohli is a bit like Kuznetsova of the WTA. He likes to go for the big shots and come to the net, hence often has quite a few UEs (a lot less than Gulbis though). So it depends on whether Verdasco will play like a pusher Simon/Roddick or whether Verdasco gets frustrated by Kohli and starts going for his shots because Kohli can frustrate people with his rallies (players who aren't pushers that is)

have you ever seen Andreev play on a hc, he had a fluke run at the AO, if Gulbis had any whatsoever braincells he would have never lost that 5 setter;

IMO Ljubo will frustrate him a lot with his serve, this might be Ljubo's last late run in a big tournament;

It's just a thing with Andreev and hardcourts that i don't like, and I am sure Ljubo knows how to play him, he will force Andreev on his bh side as much as possible..

We shall see...

Yes which means it could be a lot closer than the odds suggest

What are peoples thoughts on Del Potro against Isner?

Re: Wicked Wednesday!!!!

To be fair to andreev, he did have quite a good summer hardcourt run last year but the main reason for my ljubo bet is the serve is back, when its back its tough to break.

I have Andreev in my double but it would be no suprise to me if Ljubicic wins, i'm just hoping Ljubicic is tired or serves badly, Ljubicic can get so many free points on serve which is always a worry
