Re: A Set And A Break Up Before Choking It Away Wednesday

Errani looked lost after the end of the set. No wonder she's about to be bageled. My first loss of the day ( small ).

I have the impression Devilder is more past it than Alberto Martin at the moment. Devilder recent results are not impressive.

I know Martin is hard to fancy at his age, but I happened to watch his match against Lapentti earlier and he seemed to be playing surprisingly solid -- unexpected for a guy who retired last week.

Re: A Set And A Break Up Before Choking It Away Wednesday

Granollers over Gil

I'm basing this mainly on my perception of each player's ability. Granollers is a guy on the rise and I expect him to be a contender for titles like this over the years. He has a decent serve on this surface and can play a varied attacking game or just keep things simple. He should establish himself in the top 50 this year. Gil seems to be a limited moonballer with a much weaker serve than the Spaniard and he has only ever beaten one top 50 player on clay. That was clay clown Mahut at home in Portugal. Granollers I think has the greater pedigree on this surface and should prevail here.

2.5u 1.7

I have a few pending:

-Treble on Kleybanova, Niculescu, and Jankovic @ 2.50 ( pending on JJ )
-Llodra @ 2.10 ( I'm beginning to worry as this looks like a "public" pick, but it shouldn't mean anything, so lets all win with the frog.
-Schnyder @ 1.80
small bet on Errani @ 2.10 ( it's stretching it a bit to beat Mauresmo again but we see how it goes ).

No clue about Pattaya because I can't watch the girls to know their current form in this tourney. I won't trust Tanasugarn either, her form has been far than stellar ( 1 win in 6 )
I was tempted to try a mugummulator on Davydenko, Tsonga, Serena, Nadal, and Cibulkova but at 1.45 what's the point? Benneteau to win a set might be more interesting. There's Almagro to beat MVA @ 1.25-ish, that's maybe more promising than Davydenko but will decide later.
I'm currently placing only a small bet on KOHLSCHREIBER v SIMON over 22.5 games @ 2.00. I initially wanted to take Kohly on the games handicap but I couldn't find a bookie who offers one. These two are both fighters, their h2h is 1-1 but they haven't had a 3 setter yet. I'm hoping for a close match to cover the over.

See how it goes, good luck with your picks.

Treble still pending on JJ
Llodra WIN
Schnyder WIN
Errani LOSS
Kohlschreiber - Simno over 22.5 WIN

Still open a bet on ISNER @ 1.65

Adding picks:

Kleybanova - Radwanska over 21.5 at 2.00 ( unibet )
Cuevas +1.5 sets @ 1.80 ( IW ) very good price grab it if you think Cuevas has a chance.
Gil @ 2.40 ( betfair ). a bit risky, I wanted to take +1.5 but it's very low. Why not Gil, as Granollers is not the finished article.

We see how it goes

How does handicap betting work? Does Cuevas +1.5 sets mean you get paid even if he loses in 3?
