Happy Fernando Sunday

Mario Ancic over Marin Cilic @2.50

I see this as a 50/50, so going with the underdog.

Re: Happy Fernando Sunday

How is it a 50/50 match?

Cilic is pretty much better than Ancic in all aspects, and recently Ancic has looked a very average player indeed........

I haven't backed anything in this match however to say that Ancic is a fighter... ya know he is hilarious in finals. Lost a lot of them just because of his nerves.

As far as I know Cilic is solid in finals. I guess he won every final he entered.

So who is a fighter?

However they are 2 croats. So you don't know the motivation. I better watch not bet

Cilic @ 1.48

Place your bets and take a chance now!
Just make sure the Odds and the Gods are on your side!

Suppose it is not that case there is a God. Then time is infinite, and you are an empirically finite collection of chemicals. Since time is infinite and your youness is finite, then you have had infinite occurrence, and infinite variation. Since you have been infinitely varied, you would have attained the ability to forward, or compile, your memories. Yet it is not the case you have infinite regression of memory from time immemorial.
Hence, God exists.

Cilic can't sustain his class for long periods of time and Ancic is better in volleying. There is not much between the two I think. Cilic was lucky the Serbian in the previous round was injured through most of the match otherwise match could of been much tighter like the previous Ancic natch.

Ancic won't handle the pressure in the final against the best croatian player. also ancic was down 0-40 in the final set to lacko and hernych. two world class players as we know he's lucky to be in the final.

Re: Happy Fernando Sunday

Suarez Navarro 1.80
Cilic, Gonzalez @ 1.85
Chardy +6 games @ 2

I could have avoided posting, I'll probably be the only one facing the possibility of an "embarassment" if Ancic or Acasuso fluke another win ( ok, Acasuso will probably not fluke it but Ancic will definitely do if he beats Cilic ).
But of course it'll be an "amazing call" for those who pick Ancic or any other massive dog for that matter. It's a double edged sword, pick a fav and it's boring when they win, pick any underdog with odds of whatever and it's an amazing call if it wins, relatively harmless if it doesn't. ( no matter what your percentage of winning with these dogs is ).
The AO was "crap" at the beginning when every fav was winning, then it became good when people jumped ship and started backing them. If you think this week was normal, then think again.
Anyway, enough of my rant, good luck to the upset chasers again. Of course I'm for the odd upset but a logical one; this sport has the greatest % of favs winning than any other sport.
It makes sense financially to be chasing those but I'm not sure with what confidence anybody would make some mug with massive odds a big bet. (and I'm not talking about Ancic, in particular ). As I said I'll probably lose with these "normal" picks. But then again I only bet prematch for fun.

What about mental strength? This is what wins matches these days...

Yeah I know what happened in the Ancic matches. The match starts 0-0 now. I think metal lapses will occur even doe its maybe a strength from both players.

I still don't see how this is a 50-50 match but probably we've seen different matches this week.

Re: Happy Fernando Sunday

Everything points to a cilic win, the performances yesterday, the current form, finals record.

But we must not forget two croats are playing, if im right ancic has the crowd on his side too and sometimes a miracle escape like he pulled off yesterday can make you perform better the next day.
