Re: Token Tuesday

It's not today, but I saw Tsonga has been made clear favourite against Verdasco by the bookmakers. I have a feeling there will be a big drift closer to the start of the match tomorrow with Verdasco coming close to being favourite as money comes in for Verdasco (after all, beating Murray is normally good for 2x shorter odds in the next match).

Why do you say Djokovic didn't care about the second meeting in Dubai?

Re: Token Tuesday

the appearance fee he got for showing up was worth way more than any potential prize money and he had big points to defend in the 2 spring hc masters which started the following week.

Because alot of what he writes is utter BS, although his end picks seem to do quite well.

He might be slightly right there though as Djoko did seem to play without intensity from what I recall.

He tanked last tournament in Sydney versus Niemenem.. and that was a semi-final.. The tournament in Dubai was right before a HC Masters series event so a tank job is not out of the question..

Re: Token Tuesday

He had a blatant tank against Simon the week before and prior to that he was injured in Davis Cup. He wanted to get some matches under his belt in Dubai but for reasons already stated I don't think he really care if he won the tournament or not. He took the title in Indian Wells the following week so it worked out nicely for him whatever happened.

Anyway, this isn't a big deal as far as tonight's match goes.
