Re: Falling Friday

Cilic is a dangerous bet if you ask me...Ferrer is the better overall player...only reason.

Re: Falling Friday

Cilic 3-1 Ferrer, +330 : if it goes to 5, ferrer pretty much always wins, and especially against a youngster in the morning sun. Don't think Cilic has the consistency to straightsets someone who runs down everything though.

Baghdatis 3-2 Fish, +611 : smaller bet here, but for similar reasons: in 5 sets Baggy wins. He does seem to be up for it here, in a way I haven't seen him for a while.

Wawrinka-Berdych OVER40.5, -107 : these guys cancel each other out, could be a long one. In their 4 carpet/hardcourt meetings, they average 11 games per set. That means this is essentially a bet on 4 or 5 sets, and I can't see Wawrinka failing to get a set here.

Re: Falling Friday

Depends on which Ferrer turns up really, but if it goes 5, cilic is fucked.

I thought that Ferrer would be at 1.65. Not Cilic. Even with 2 sets and a break down, Ferrer will fight until end.
Against Cilic, Tipsarevic had some chances to go to a five-setter but missed too many opportunities. Cilic was tired in the middle of third set but was lucky enough to win in 4.
I'm sure that Ferrer will give him some fight. So, yes. Ferrer @ 2.46 is worth a shot.

Re: Falling Friday

Just one observation on Ferrer. Last season he won only 2 matches on hard against top 50 players. His W/L ratio as a whole on hard was 13/14. His success on clay last year hid a lot. Im not sure whether on hard courts he has the game at present to beat Cilic. Maybe wrong?
