Good luck Ryan, some decent plays m8 Mardy vs PHM could be a very long match and good for the overs, same again with Minar who should give Jarkko a run for his money!Ferru seems solid pic although not in his best form of late!Pennetta vs Peng,1st up was leaning towards Peng but this match looks like it could go either way easily! Was actually looking at Gorgeous Bremond (5.00 price here) over Vaidsova,Nikky has been in bad shape and at worse a backbet of Nikky 2-1 cant hurt if Severine doesnt have her way but dont see any bookies offering set betting on this match!!

Bilbo depends on which Kohli comes out, think Special K will get over the line and could be a nice double with Dr Ivo!

Re: Simon says go home Thursday

Even worse card today.

There is a tiny temptation with Acasuso and Fish, but, for me at least, these are guys I am so much more comfortable fading, than putting faith in. If Simon keeps up his current form, I don't see him falling to Acasuso...Argie has several clear weaknesses that Simon is fulling capable of exploiting. As for Fish...I think it could be a tight match, but Mathieu is more solid, and I expect that to count given Fish's tendency for a high number of unforced errors...but, of course, we all know about Mathieu's famed lack of mental stability.

As per usual, there will probably be a couple of upsets, but I'm not really seeing which ones they could be (other than the two potential ones just mentioned). Possible one involving Troicki, although I'm pretty sure that if Kohli is playing half decently, he'll be too solid for Viktor.

A clear "no bet" day for me. GL anyone playing.

Re: Simon says go home Thursday

It might not be anything, but Fish seemed to be wincing and grimacing during his match against Smeets. Didn't look 100%.

From what I have seen over the last month, he is playing like a complete shithouse. However, as Bilbo said, the home crowd could be a huge advantage for Fish as Mathieu is not good in these type of atmospheres.

Yes, I noticed that as well...didn't the commentators mention a slight problem with his back? I think I remember Frew or someone suggesting that maybe he slept awkwardly, ala Roddick? At any rate, I imagine he was probably a little stiff at the start...back probably loosened up gradually after the first 30 minutes or so.

As "shit" as Mardy has been lately, and I do believe that description is accurate, I just couldn't trust PHM at these odds...give me 1.80+ and I'll reconsider. But as concerns the crowd, if you're playing crap, there isn't a lot that thousands of screaming fans can do for you, really...they can give you a lift, but if your game isn't working, it isn't working. And that has been the case for Fish for God knows how long...a finals run in New Haven doesn't prove a great deal imo.
