Really surprised with your pick here, ivan. Beck is after succesful Q-tournament and he's very unattractive tennis player to play for Isner. First of all, he's lefty. Second, he's baseline grinder who try to reach every ball. Isner is too dependend on his serve, his footwork is poor rubbish. Basically for 8/13 you accept the price where Isner will basically outserve Beck but if we consider 5set format it's not difficut to find out that in the 5th set format Isner will be almost dead in his legs (in a typical Karlovic's way).

Beck with +4 handicap for 1.85 looks way more pleasant here

Re: Grand Slam Monday at last

imo there will be lots of surpries in the first 2 rounds.and the odds?better to lay everyone who is under 1.5.more money there then to bet 1.33 and make it 5 fold...

I (obviously) hope that you are wrong but I will just enjoy the ride. Grand Slams are fun. Good call on Ferrero, he's pulled out according to the US Open website. Thanks for the advice tho. This is what the forum is for.

Suppose it is not that case there is a God. Then time is infinite, and you are an empirically finite collection of chemicals. Since time is infinite and your youness is finite, then you have had infinite occurrence, and infinite variation. Since you have been infinitely varied, you would have attained the ability to forward, or compile, your memories. Yet it is not the case you have infinite regression of memory from time immemorial.

This 1st round card is looking worse than a British dental plan.

Re: Grand Slam Monday at last

I don't understand why Darcis is the dog against Gremelmayr.

Perhaps because Darcis retired last week but you get alot of these things a week before a grand slam. Gremel is an average performer that has been outperforming his talents over the past few months. If Darcis turns up, there is not much he is able to do IMO.

gremelmayr appears in decent form since back on hard courts, gremelmayer is a bad matchup for darcis, darcis has a poor hard court record, darcis is 0-5 in 5 setters, darcis recently had a back injury
