Looking at some lively outsiders

Nalbandian and gonzo are all or nothing players but have great pride in their country.

Gulbis and Nishkori could be interesting options for big outsiders.

In the womens event i cant look past the williams sisters but an outsider has to be radwanska

Mathieu plays against Lapentti. I'm sure that Nicolas will like conditions of play.

Re: Tennis - Beijing Olympics

Sunday's bets:

Lapentti to beat Mathieu @ 2.2

Lapentti showed some great tennis last week in Cincy, beating Cilic, Ferrer and Verdasco and gave Nadal a tough match. One of the fittest players on tour, so should be able to cope with the heat and humitidy and was solely responsible for Ecuador's run in the Davis cup world group stage a few years ago, most famously beating Rusedski on grass at Wimbledon in the play off match, so relishes playing for his country.
Mathieu on the otherhand has been in horrible form, losing his last 4 matches on 3 different surfaces and not against high calibre opponents either. He also doesn't seem to like the pressure of playing for his country.

Robredo to beat Seppi @ 1.61

Soderling to beat Simon @ 1.7

Mugtiple - Canas x Kiefer x Lee x Anderson @ 1.5

The tough weather conditions throw a bit of an unknown factor into the equation, which tends to even out the competition (no matter what the sport).

I wouldn't be rushing to back either of those at these prices.
