Re: Grandma go home. It'sThursday.

I've checked Gulbis latest results on hard. When he lost a match it was most of the time in the 3rd set tiebreaker against top class players. I think he can beat Blake today.

Acasuso is a top class player?

Clement should have beat him in the last round.

What a poster said near the start of the thread is true though, Gulbis does seem to raise his game against the top players...........but this is James Blake on American soil.

I generally don't like to get involved in Soderling matches as a rule. Murray should beat Dima but I was very impressed with the Russian last night.

it's really shit to have sod-kohls on court 3 with no live pictures. i'm sure many are interested in this match.

usually all 3rd round matches should be played on the two main courts.

Well I am getting 1.65 on Blake so I am not sure where you are getting the 4/9 from.

Re: Grandma go home. It'sThursday.

they say Gulbis frustrated Blake in RG match with his dropshots...
Blake is quite good on clay just to add importance of this H2H and Gulbis too likes fast courts better

Blake vs Kiefer on American soil 1:6, 2:6...

well, I would consider 1.80 and above on Blake

I agree, Blake might have an edge here, but considering all inconsistencies... isnt worth the risk

Fortunate maybe, but it showed that Gulbis is not mentally there yet. Quite a few times this year he has failed to serve out a match.... I remember his match against Murray at Queens, he was totally in control against an injured opponent but failed to close it out.

Blake is an utter mug but there is a reason why he has been top 10 for the last 18 months or so and thats because he consistently churns out results in particular on the American hard courts.

Re: Grandma go home. It'sThursday.

Not to much i like today and with my bets from yesterday still pending will leave alone the mens- i would have gone with Gulbis over Blake as Blake is having a poor year but Gulbis only just about beat Clement which isnt great form so that match could go either way its a 50-50

Another one could be Lapentti but i'm not to sure how much he has left in the tank watching yesterday he looked pretty tired at the end but who knows maybe a lot fresher today

Soderling should win but odds to short... so will try some WTA

Chakvetadze over Bartoli 4/6

Cibulkova over Petrova 11/10

Big Star/Alex Chilton R.I.P

The Stone Roses

Guns N' Roses

i like to fade nando when so short but wondering does nico have still energy to continue

this is part of his interwiew yesterday:

The national tennis player of 32 years of age, recognizes that she underwent fatigue in the second Seth, but who recovered in the final Seth. “I felt comfortable in the field, although I was a little tired in the second Seth, but in the third party I recovered and I played an excellent tennis”, added.
