Question for NRL fans.

Ok I bought six tickets to the NRL grand final for myself and a few mates and my mother not knowing I already had tickets bought me some for my birthday.

Ive never used ebay or taken notice when tickets are sold and for how much etc. When would be the best time to sell them? I know the games sold out now, would it be better to put the tickets up now, wait for the finals or sell in the last week (there is a small percentage of tickets that go on sale when the finalists have been decided).

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question for NRL fans.

This isnt nrl related but I ran into a similar experience just last week with finding myself having too many tix to a real madrid exo. Good tickets sold quick and I had great seats and they only went on sale less than 2 weeks before the game. Once I found out I had too many I put 4 on ebay right away, 10 days left, reserve was cost of the tix and not one offer. I relisted them and this time the auction ended hours before the game and I got about 25 messages from ebayers begging me for the tix. My advice hold out as long as possible you'll get way more interest.

RIP Luc Bourdon

Re: Question for NRL fans.

I'd wait until grand final week mate. There will be plenty of people that wouldn't have got tix and if their team makes the grand final they will want to go. If I was you I would hope Parra make the grand final because none of their fans would have bought tix when they went on sale so you could make a pretty penny off some desparate fans wanting to watch the game.

Hope that helps,

Sparks

Agree with Spark - you won't have a problem selling tickets to the fans

Especially those bulldogs fans

Those Bulldog fans.

It's going to be Melbourne Vs Brisbane.
In that case everyone will want to get rid of their tickets so best to do it now.

Also your local paper could be a good place.

Usually on game day before a big game (up here in Townsville) you will see some trying to sell their tickets.
I'm assuming it would be like that everywhere.

While I'm no expert in this area, I agree with spark.

Re: Question for NRL fans.

Definitely leave it until the last week mate. Having been to a few the grand final a couple of times in the last 5 years I can tell you the NRL will hold back a small amount of tickets to sell to fans on the Monday of grand final week. A lot of the fans of the grand final teams miss out because these tickets are snapped up in less than 2 hours leaving a lot of desperate fans trying to get tickets anyway they can.
