Can we have a new server other than QuakeNet for chat???

Just want to know if it is ok for all the regulars at mtf chat room, if we change the server from QuakeNet??? its being a bitch and not allowing me to connect to the server because my internet connection is COX Communication (it think COX as a bad word) i tried all the required things to adjust my setting still its a failure... so here i am asking all of u if it is ok with u guys if we change the Mirc server alone ??? please vote for ur opinion
