What is the opposite of a fraction?

I was trying to impress an Economics undergraduate by telling her I'm interested in probability theory. I told her my best ever bet was Tsonga v Federer, 8/5 (1.60) at RG. Then I asked her if she prefers fractions or decimals. But now I'm worrying if I used the correct terms. If, eg. 3/1 is a fraction, what do you call 0.33?

And do you think girls studying Economics would generally want to hook up with a guy who bets on tennis?

I did a lot of your name as a teenager and more recently grew and ate large quantities of psilocybin mushrooms. Now I just get drunk every day on this fake jap beer (brewed from corn). I don't know if it counts as drugs.

I don't eat much rice.

Decimal odds

The reason why people attended the Del Potro v Lu match at AO 2012:

Re: What is the opposite of a fraction?

But I wouldn't refer to it as an opposite. Simply an alternative presentation of the odds.

I'm not from there but I do live near Matsumoto.

And thanks for the answer, though I fear rambling on about tennis odds my have blown my chances...

Economics undergraduates are only impressed by what's in your pants. Nothing else.

My signature sucked so I made this one instead.

Hahaha. Funny thread. So what did you say was 3/1, decimal? haha. it's not opposite in betting, though. there's also euro moneyline odds or american.

Re: What is the opposite of a fraction?

Depends on the size of your decimal point.

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.
