Contrary to what I said earlier, there are a couple of plays I'm willing to make before the weekend. Starting on thursday, if it goes well, I'll be maxing on Ivory Coast for friday.

Woeful. What a waste of time. Ghana will have to improve dramatically to give my OR on them a run for my money. They should win the group now and therefore avoid Ivory Coast until the final, which is what I wanted and needed in relation to my ORs on them both.

Yeah, I've backed Valencia a few times this season when things haven't been going well for them and it hasn't paid off. I'm fairly confident Egypt and Arsenal will come through (I considered a max double), but I've decided it was worth the risk to add Valencia and halve the stake.

We'll see how it goes.

Very pleased with how the ANC turned out. Ghana and Ivory Coast both won their groups, thus avoiding each other until the final. I'll be disappointed if one of them doesn't come through. Ivory Coast are clearly the best side in the tournament.

Back friday for weekend plays.

Made the right move at the right time, fortunately. Like you, I think Arsenal are clearly an outstanding side, but Man.Utd are just stronger and I'll be very surprised if they don't win the title, even though it is likely to be close.

Ghana and the Ivorians move on to the last 4. Fantastic from Ghana to beat Nigeria with 10 men. It would be a shame for Ivory Coast to lose in the final to the hosts again, but with that kind of spirit, Ghana may well knock them off in the final despite not being as talented.

Haven't looked at the midweek internationals yet, so don't know if there will be any plays. If there are, I'll post them monday night. TBH, I'll probably give it a miss unless something very obvious stands out.
