Lucie

OMG at the Czech Davis Cup team playing Chile. Massu still isn't that bad on clay and Aguilar or whatever is decent, so I guess I wouldn't be surprised if the Czechs lost, but realistically Hajek should win his 2 singles matches

Not sure, he was on the entry list but might have pulled out or something.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Damn, oh well might as well use this time to prepare for the Hard-courts.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

He should get prepared for hard court events instead of playing in a small clay court tournament.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

I'm glad he isn't playing. No point him playing small tournaments on clay, he would have to do quite well to even have a 250 even count to his points...and right now he doesn't need to overplay

Let's not do this

And that ladies and gentlemen is why Berdych chose not to play DC.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Well it looks like the SF will be against Serbia now, will be tough considering Serbia will probably choose clay, but a win looks possible if Steps gets his shit together by then and Tomas keeps up his awesome form.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

I think any way you look at it, they have as good a chance as ever to win the DC this year now...provided Tomas keeps his form like you said, and Steps doesn't suck when he comes back (or actually comes back at all). Good chance against Serbia because Djokovic would feel massive pressure to win both his matches considering Tomas and Radek should be able to beat Tipsarevic or Troicki pretty easy (unless they go braindead).

Come on! Now I actually have hope, lets hope all this actually happens when the tie is played.

hehehhehe

But yea I was thinking the other day - Tomtom has proved himsel on every surface now, so unless he, like Dave says goes braindead, he can challenge on all surfaces and be a threat on all surfaces. So even if the tie is on clay, I iz confident Or have I just majorly jinxed things

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

No you haven't jinxed it because it's true, he is a major threat on all surfaces now...no one would wanna see him on the other side of the court at the moment.
