choking in all the important moments, not taking chances, not being nearly aggressive enough

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

It's like Miami all over again, plays so well leading up to the final, then plays shit in the final.

Oh well though, Tomas seems happy with his RU plate

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Well we have to be happy he made the final of Wimbledon, I mean that's a huge achievement...yeah he didn't win but he now has experience in a slam final and there is no reason he can't do it again and win it next time

Let's not do this

That's how we and Tomas should approach to the situation. Grand Slams are only won by Champions. Today, Nadal played a good match and deserved to win. But Tomas showed that he is in the right track ( RG SF, W F) and will be the one to watch at the US Open.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

David's totally right here, there's no reason why any of us fans should sulk about it, it was a great learning experience for Tomas. I mean I think RG and Wimbledon showed that, he learnt from his loss against Soderling in the RG SF and used that as a way to reach a GS Final at Wimbledon, now all we need is him to use this experience to win a GS. And the USO is next which is clearly the best GS suited for Tomas' game, (although he's had his worst GS results there) so we should keep believing.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Tomas had an amazing tournament, i'm so proud of him My happiness about those two weeks covers my disappointment of tomas' final Now i'm very excited about the hard season, i can't wait for it

After Wimbledon, we'll be probably more on tomas' forum which can be cool but hopefully new guys will support him for the good reasons... . Welcome, willkommen, bienvenue
And for all my lambs, jeeeeeeeeeees finally it was our turn to cry of happiness ( not necessarily ), to jump and to make some crazy dances and to tell everyone "eheheh Tomas is in THE FINAL OF A GRAND SLAM" And yeahhhhhhh we deserved it, he deserved it

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Aye, too bad from Tomas today.
Still, an amazing run at Wimbledon, and he's got nothing else than positives to take from here. Semifinal at RG, final at Wimbledon... what's next?
