As for the match, good performance. Istomin played really well, however the ending of the 3rd set was absolutely horrible.

Will post some pictures tomorrow
So that was not the first that you were seeing her? When did you see them also?
Can't wait for the pics
Btw : did tomas accept to marry me ? I bet yes, never boys say me no

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

I saw her at Wimbledon 2007 and asked her for an autograph then as well

Uploading them now, quite crap as I took them with my phone and it was hard just using my left hand to take pics.

I actually dunno though, when he was walking onto court I shouted out "Laura loves you" but he didn't do anything

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Hey
I'm Ole, 15 years old and I come from Germany. I've been reading this forum for a while and now I finally decided to join it as well
I watch tennis since the Aussie Open 2009 and I`m a huge fan of Tomas since his breathtaking match against Federer which he sadly lost. Oh, and I hope my English is not too bad because I can only rely on the English I've learned at school

By the way, Li has just won her match against Radwanska, so Tomas will be next on Court 18. I'm pretty confident about his chances of making another Grand Slam-QF. Brands has a huge serve but if Tomas can keep his cool in a tiebreak, he should be able to win.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Not very good first set from the Birdman, he must be more aggressive and serve better.
Goooo Tomas

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Yeah, very nice win

Brands was tougher than I expected, especially in the first two sets. He was serving pretty well with a high percentage, has great net game and of course his confidence was sky-high. Tomas played well in the 2nd set tiebreak. I think the key moment was when Tomas broke Brands at 4-5 in the 3rd. From that moment on, Brands was making more errors, his service level dropped and Tomas began to play really well. Love it when he's pushing himself to great shots

I will enjoy next match against Federer. Tomas has done a great job at Wimbledon, no matter how he plays against Fed.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Welcome to the forum Nice to have new people always!

Glad he got the win, but it was scrappy again. Brands played well and has the perfect game for grass I think...well modern grass..so it was tough. I don't think Tomas is in his best form, he definitely played better at RG...but you never know, he plays Fed and that could fire up his form...Roger isn't in the best form either so this is a chance for Tomas...

either way, back to back slam QFs This is becoming a very good year!

Let's not do this

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Guten Tag Ole Nice to meet you

QF's should be a good contest, but Daveeeed I think Feddies form is improving no? and although I wove Tomas, I am on Team Fed for this match up. Old loyalties and all. But I guess if Tomas wins, its still kinda a win for me :S
