Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

where is everyone?

anayway he is only playing 3 events in America this year. He really needs to pick up his game, a good thing is he very little points to defend from now until the end of the year so there is still a good chance to make London Masters.

His forehand has been his biggest weakness recently and he needs to sort this out.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Well there's not really much to talk about Tomas at the moment. On the bright side at least he has a BYE in R1 of Montreal now since Ferrer and Soderling withdrew.

But yeah it is a good thing he doesn't have anything to defend, doubt his results can get any worse than they got last here so I definitely see him finishing in the top 10.

His whole game has looked weak overall too, will definitely be interesting to see how he plays in Montreal.

Montreal draw: http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/421/mds.pdf

tough draw tbh, Dolgopolov, Simon, Nadal. He'll have to actually play well.

Let's not do this

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

This is a big chance for him to make SF and even F here...the draw is so open, so no doubt he will lose to Tipsy.

Let's not do this

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

Yeah, would be a nice chance for revenge too if both him and Fish win.

Love how Lucie and Tomas go out in the same round too, what a coincidence!

Doubles lost but the SF was a good result in that anyway. He and Lucie are still in sync with eachother

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

he won 7-6, 6-0 against Monaco. It showed the 2 sides of Berdych. In the 1st set he was making lots of errors and was quite defensive. In the 2nd he was more agressive and made winners and a lot less ERRORS.

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

He beat Federer 6-2, 7-6!

I hope his shoulder injury does not affect him too much in the semi-final. He had to withdraw from doubles

Re: The Tomas Cheering Thread

he retired against Djokovic after the shoulder injury he suffered in his match against Federer. I hope he will be ok for US Open. What is more annoying is he gets injured when finally finding his form.
