Congrats on your boy, people!

First win against Gonzo!
Keep it up, Birdman.

Re: Tomas 2008 tournaments

Ok people, it's US Open time

Tomas will play his first match at this USO today, against Sam Querry. This is the first match scheduled on Grandstand. Playing against an American player at home will be a bit difficult but tomas can handle some pressure from the audience, no? Go Tomas!!!!

Re: Tomas 2008 tournaments

Today while walking around the grounds at the Open Tomas walked right past me! He was in "regular" clothes and looked extremely handsome That haircut did wonders for him, not that he wasn't already attractive.

Anyway, I was kind of staring because I hadn't ever seen a player walking around the grounds in non-tennis clothing, being totally ignored by the crowds. He might have noticed me staring

Why's he still at the Open though? Not that I minded seeing him

Re: Tomas 2008 tournaments

Tomas reached the final of Tokyo He won 6:7 7:5 7:6 against Roddick and came back from a break down in the 3rd set. Opponent in the final is Del Potro, who has an amazing run the last months.

The only time Tomas and Juan have met was 2006 in Prostejov, where Tomas won in 2 sets on clay.

It would be great for Tomas if he could get the title in his 2nd final of this year. It's been a while since he won the last title in Halle last year.
