Re: Jan Hajek

Jan plays compatriot dropshot Dlouhy in the 1st round of the US OPen.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Jan Hajek

Big Jan defeated Dlouhy in straight sets for his first win at a Slam and now plays Gonzalez in the next round.

Jan lost 6-4 6-4 6-2 to Gonzo, but good start to his main tour career.

He is going back to the clay and playing some Challengers in the next weeks.

Jan plays compatriot Bohdan Ulihrach in the 1st round of Palermo. Bohdan made the final last week in Poland, and this is Jan's chance to do well in this event and he will be fresh which is good.

Jan defeated Ulihrach in straight sets 6-2 7-6 and now plays the winner of Bracciali and Verdasco when the rain lets up.

Jan will be playing in Adelaide and is on the alternate list for both Auckland and Sydney.

Then he will go to Melbourne and after that more than likely join the Davis Cup squad for their tie against the US.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
