Good luck in Miami, Ljubo!

http://www.atptennis.com/1/posting/2007/403/mds.pdf

He's in Fed's part of the draw, and can play against him in SF. there's a huge possibility for that match i think, not bad draw for Ivan till then.

Thumbs up Re: Good luck in Miami, Ljubo!

He should win all until facing Federer. Pls step up the level to defend points as much as you can.

That's together with IW, this is only for Miami. Considered as more important tourney for Ivan because he has more points to defend here. Miami deserves his own thread

Re: Good luck in Miami, Ljubo!

This is a good draw for Ivan. Although he has final points to defend, semis this year would be good too. He wouldnt lost that many points and would be in good shape. He will probably be around # 15 after Roland Garros and thats assuming he doesnt have that good of a clay season. He will have many chances after RG to gain points. He isnt defending that much. He really is not in bad shape no matter what people in GM say. He will be top 10 maybe even around 5 at the end of the year.

If Ivan will lose all this points, and fall down to #15,he will never come back.He will start to get bad draws, and it's probably the end. This is the most important stage in his career.Either he will stay a top player,or he will fall down and in a couple of months he will be history and nobody will talk about him anymore.

Re: Good luck in Miami, Ljubo!

I really really wish him very good luck, honestly, but maybe he is not in a such bad form, but you have to admmit,IVAN ISN'T THE OLD ONE HE USED TO BE,he's definetely not the player from Metz&Vienna&Madrid&Paris in 2005,and the first part of 2006(Chennai,AO,Zagreb,Indian Wells,Miami,DC).He is not the old one. That few weeks in 2005,and A good part of 2006 was the best period in his career.I will never forget that.but you know, this just isn't that anymore.
He played like that in Vienna 2006 but that wasnt for a long,as he got sick. But there is always a hope.

Honestly,I'm a bit scared about that match.I hope Dave will lose early. You never know with Fat Dave.Ivan defeated him last few times, but if Dave will have his perfect day(wich he didnt have for a long time)he can easily beat Ivan or any other player. He can play like shit and lose to everyone, but also sometimes he plays perfect and beats even Fed
One thing is sure:He is not a good match up for anyone.
