Boca or River?

Whos the better soccer team?

River seems to have dominated for a few years, since Bianchi left Boca.
Who is the better team in your opinion?

Re: Boca or River?

Unfortunately, being from the US, I don't get the opportunity to watch football. The American kind, of course, but not what we Americans would call soccer. It's not a popular sport in this country, like it is in other parts of the world. Yeah, I shouldn't have answered in this thread, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Talk to the hand because the ears don't hear you.

Re: Boca or River?

Nalbandian would say River and Calleri would say Boca.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Boca or River?

I actually support Independiente.

The question is whether the person is a gallina or a bostero.

I prefer Boca over River, but I'd rather Independiente or other smaller sides.

Boca are my favourite team from the Primera.. when Tevez played for Boca I always used to stay up till 3am to watch it.

I'd like to visit the Bombonera one day, looks like a clifftop LOL.

They are mad at the Bombonera and don't flash too much stuff around and if you were a Boca shirt you should be alright.

I know a lot of Boca fans and maybe passionate could the right way to describe them.

Unfortunately Argentine soccer has been dogged for many years by problems such as economy and crowd violence, as the hooligan gangs often get free tickets off foolish club Presidents. The derby in Avellaneda seems to always produce crowd trouble.

You'd be alright as long you are cautious and the problem isn't just in Argentina.
