Hello members!

I often read a lot of posts at MTF during the big matches. So I thought I'd join it, though I'm not quite knowledgeable about tennis and wouldn't be posting much. I held the racquet only for about 30 days during a tennis training I attended. It was fun, although I was not very good at it. The Djokovic - Tsonga 2008 AO final was the first match I watched with my tennis-crazy uncle and aunt. I've been supporting Djokovic since then. And I enjoy watching Federer too.

Re: Hello members!

Greetings friend.

Hmm you say don't have much knowledge of this beautiful game.

Should fit right in with the lovely folk at GM.

Huzzah, the Asians are taking over.

Welcome, feel free to pass me a PM if you have any questions about MTF.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Re: Hello members!

@Hewitt = legend, I always rooted for Hewitt when he played against anyone but Federer. I like the folk at MTF, in general, though. TTW seems filled with Federer fans, while there seem to be quite a lot of supporters of every player at MTF. And my membership there was rejected for some reason. Call it sour grapes, if you will.

@Sonja and Sham - Thanks.

Thank you for that, Johnny Groove. I'm enlightened. I wonder why it hasn't it been made sticky yet. Here goes the customary emoticon (ref: Law #23) .

Welcome here . And please respect MTF's rule #1 . It's not allowed to show any kind of sympathies towards R. Nadal . Consequences are immediate and permanent . Have a good time though

Welcome my friend. Bit of advice - you hear anyone talk about a castle, you get out of the thread asap. It's for your own protection, trust me on this one.

Also, ajde.

The two posts would seem congruous if I were a Nadal fan. Good that I'm not.
