Question The Hilton Waikoloa Village USTA Challenger Jan. 26-Feb. 1

Does anyone know anything about the entry list for this tournament? The last entry list that I saw had players listed but not all were officially signed because of the AO.

I haven't even seen a draw for qualifying today.

PAW 2013:
Munich - 2nd place
Halle - 4th place
's-Hertogenbosch - 4th place
GSTAAD - WINNER

I'm just curious. Are you hoping for that result because you like Bjorn? Or only because you don't like Alex? I have never understand rooting against a player because you don't like them rather than rooting for their opponent because you like the opponent.

For instance, if Roddick was to play someone else that I didn't like then the match just wouldn't interest me. The same applies to any Rusedski, Corretja, and a few other players.

What the hell is Alex's problem against Bjorn Phau?!?! I just called the Hawaii Challenger (yes, I'm insane...lol) and found out that he lost to Bjorn Phau 6-0 in the third!!

He went through most of last year with no bagels and now he has been bageled twice in 2 weeks!! And to add insult to injury, he made the QFs last year so going out in the first round this year is going to take him farther away from breaking the top 100 for a second time .

I'm starting to get a little worried about what's going on with him but it's only January so I have all confidence in him that he will get on a roll.

I think Brian's nerves may have still been frayed from the ridiculous flight he had getting to Hawaii. I don't know for sure. Only guessing from what I read on his site.

Alex later pulled out of doubles with the reason being his shoulder. It's not normal for him to lose matches with scores like this. Now hearing about the shoulder, I've gone from being really frustrated to really worried.

I'm worried for him and for selfish reasons. If his shoulder begins to bother him this year that puts into really questionable territory as to whether he'll enter any of the three So. Cal. tournaments I can go to. Calabasas being the first one in April.
