I'm a little disappointed by the score of the final but congratulations to Nico for this 2 good weeks. It's a good preparation and it's promising for 2007.

I enjoyed very much seeing Nico playing during these 4 days
Thanks for that Alexito. I know you aren't biased so it means a lot coming from you.

I love watching Nico too! He's a lot of fun to watch. He's really sweet.

Just a clarification: does he mean through the good times and through the bad times?

No lo sé, pero lo que él quiso decir, fue que los argentinos tienen más "aguante" que los chilenos.

////////////////////////////////////////////

I do not know, but what he wanted to say, it was that the Argentinians have more "endurance" than the Chileans.

Re: Nico Off Season Reports...Working Hard 8 Hours A Day!!!!

Our sweetie is a tad forgetful - first he forgets Tia Sonia at the airport and now his racquets!

From latercera.cl:

Nicolas Massú travels January 3

In turn, Nicolas Massú came to pass Christmas to Chile. On his arrival on Saturday in the early morning, the scare was large. Already in his house realized that he had forgot the racquets in the airport. The problem was that if he did not find, should expect a week to receive some new.

Nevertheless, for their tranquility, the air terminal they reported him that his luggage with the racquets were found. Thus will be able to continue with his practices, the ones that after his brief step by the country, they will continue from now on in Buenos Aires.

The "Vampire" works three essential aspects to be ready: the tennis aspects, the physical and the psychologic. " It has been desgastante, because all the day I am in function of the training. But I know that this will give me a good base for the next season", explains the double Olympic champion.

To the previous thing also added many hours in court, therefore as opposed to other years opted for playing exhibitions in the middle of the pre-season. And with good results, therefore arrived at the end in Cordoba Argentina of Tennis.

"They have permitted me to do more tolerable these weeks", the Chilean says that January 3 leaves for New Zealand to debut since January 8 in the ATP of Auckland. Later he will play the Australian Open, that will be vital to add points before the defense of the Vina del Mar finals and of the title in Costa do Saupie, tournament that he would not play in the 2007.

Re: Nico Off Season Reports...Working Hard 8 Hours A Day!!!!

Tia Sonia is his mom. The other South American players call her Tia Sonia (Aunt Sonia), and the fans have picked up on the nickname for her. She's a very nice woman. Very supportive of Nico.
