Re: Judio Confirmed That Nico Will Be Seeded At Roland Garros! Whooo hoo!
Nico talking about his seeding in RG ...
The Chilean tennis player took advantage of Argentinean Guillermo's retirement Coria to enter among the 32 fields of the open parisino.
One of the goals of Nicolás' first semester Massú (34º of ATP) was to enter as series head to the Open of Roland Garros, however, for ranking it didn't reach him/her, nevertheless Argentinean Guillermo's retirement Coria will allow to the viñamarino to arrive as field.
"Agassi, (Igor) Andreev and Coria faded (André), and now I am sowed in Roland Garros that was a goal that had me", the national tennis player explained from Düsseldorf where this week he disputes the Cup of the World for Teams.
In spite of the confirmation of the news, Massú is not made illusions, because there are always dangerous players among those that are not preclasificados.
"That is relative, because there are players like (Richard) Gasquet or (Marat) Safin that are not sowed and they can play anyone, but logically it is good to be sowed", the national tennis player explained.
Massú added that to be series head allows him at least to avoid players that are among the 10 first.
"The squares that they played me in Masters Series were really hard in first beat. I played with two top you have and with a player that came illuminated and I lost in closed" parties, he argued.
Massú, next to González, will follow its participation in the Cup of the World of Düsseldorf on Wednesday 24 when they collide before United States. (Cooperativa.cl)
