He has to...our very own KidNicky is going to her first live tournament to see our Nico!

And you were right about that he'll be 43 or 44 - Judio is also saying 44. And Nico wants to be in the top 40 for the European clay court season. He knows that he doesn't do as well in IW or Miami as on clay so I think that he'll be really pushing for points in Acapulco. I could be wrong, but I know that when he decided to play in Brasil, he said that he really wanted to do well in both Brasil and Acapulco.

I read that Nico will think about to play in Acapuldo or not because he is a bit tired

Oh no.

I wouldn't care becuase I'm sure he is tired and needs the rest except Kid is on her way there..

Poor Kid if he does decide to withdraw. She has so looked forward to seeing Nico, and its so expensive to go and not see who you want to see - and really Nico is the only one she cares about seeing.

Hopefully he'll go - he said in an interview in Radio Cooperativa that he wasn't go to withdraw.

Re: The Comeback Kid Striking It Hot In The Acapulco Heat!

Thank goodness for Kid, looks like he's playing. The draw came out so late that I can't imagine that he wouldn't have given them notice before they did it if he wasn't going to play.

Nice little draw.

Poor Marcos Daniel - he may get stuck playing Nico again - he's going to be having nightmares about Nico!

Gaston's a sweetie, but of course, I must root for my Nico if they both make it to the QFs (sorry Elea and Lovely ).

Re: The Comeback Kid Striking It Hot In The Acapulco Heat!

I would love to see Nico do well here because it takes him awhile to get used to hardcourts so he might have problems in IW and maybe even Miami so I'd like to see him get as many points as he can on the Latin America swing.

I want Massu to win but I kinda feel sorry for Marcos...he deserves a better draw. Maybe Massu will loose out of pitty. XD

...no seriously, he has to be ruthless, like Roger over Hewitt. :P

Sounds nice in theory to have pity, but in reality - yeah, no mercy.

Last year when he was having so much trouble coming back, I don't recall anyone - player or fans - having much mercy or compassion for him that's for sure.

Re: The Comeback Kid Striking It Hot In The Acapulco Heat!

I just talked to Kid from Acapulco!

She's having an awesome time!

Nico was really nice to her - she talked to him, got an autograph, got her picture taken with him. I'm so happy for her!

She's taken a lot of pictures - I can't wait to see them!

That lucky lucky girl! I wish I had the courage to try to talk to Nico!
