I'm just so afraid that if he loses Down Under that he'll really be in a huge confidence hole.

On a scale of 0 to 10 right now confidence wise, with 0 being no confidence and 10 being very confident, he has a confidence level of about -100.

I think putting him in a situation where he could do poorly (on hardcourts at the beginning of the season where he traditionally has poor results) when he desperately just needs confidence and just pure playing time to get his timing and groundstrokes back is well...kind of loco. And will set the stage for more losses.

But again, no one calls me on these things... ... so he'll be winging his way Down Under come January...

Nico said that this year he won't go to Palermo, and will prefer to play indoors directly after US Open... good decision

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

I checked the entry lists for both Valencia and Houston - Nico isn't on either one so he must be taking the week off.

So sorry TommyB!

I don't think he'll ever play Munich though. He always seems to go to Estoril. Munich seems like a much better tournament though to me, but if Estoril makes him happy, then to Estoril he must go.

BTW saw your Tommy H a couple of times in Miami. He was looking good! Up until last night against Fed but Fed makes everyone look not so good.

I have to say - I don't like the haircut. All I could think the entire time was I miss my Tommy with the hair. Grow it back Tommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
