I think Gonzo will win in 3 sets against Korolev, in 3 or 4 against JMDP, in 4 against Hewitt, in 5 against Blake (or in 3 against Moyá), in 1/4 he will win in 4 sets against Nadal, in semis he will win in 4 or 5 against Davydenko and in the final he will win in 5 over Massú!!!!!

Re: Feña is ready to rock the world ... Australian Open Cheering Thread

Not a bad draw for Fena according to me
Korolev and Del Potro are 2 youngs players who can make a surprise but they lack of background in grand slams
Hewitt doesn't play at his best level at that time maybe it will be Ginepri
Fena has already beaten Blake and everybody know Blake's stats for 5 sets matches I think Moya would be tougher

Re: Feña is ready to rock the world ... Australian Open Cheering Thread

I agree with Alx.
Kolorev and Del Potro will be dangerous but Fernando's experience in this kind of tournaments should prevail against those two players and then in 3rd round Lleyton could be very dangerous but considering his actual form, if they face, Fernando has a lot more possibilities of winning that match.
Then in the 4th round come the problems with Blake probably.

LLEYTON HEWITT

Blake doesn't play well the GS except in NY ... Feña can reach to QF at least

Re: Feña is ready to rock the world ... Australian Open Cheering Thread

Hewitt said today that there is a huge probability that he finally withdraw from the AO, so if it concretates, Feña's draw will be easier

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

Well, if Hewitt has to pull out, that is some good news for Fernando. I do wish Hewitt well, though-not my favorite personality but what a great competetor he always is. I hope he will be 100% soon (after the AO that is )

Re: Feña is ready to rock the world ... Australian Open Cheering Thread

Personally I don't think Blake is the problem, because I really don't think he'll get past Moya. Hewitt isn't a problem, because of his current form. Personally I think if he has to play Moya, then we've got problems. Del Potro doesnt have the experience that Gonzo has, and I don't know all that much about Korolev other than he's gotten some big wins under his belt. It's gonna be tough, but if Gonzo gives it his all (and he always does) then he can do really well here. And the melbourne crowd love him from Kooyong, so he'll have the crowds support as well.
