How would you rate his backhand?

We all know his forehand is maybe the games best. But what would you give his backhand out of 10? I'd say 7 out of 10.

Re: How would you rate his backhand?

Fernando has improve his backhand A LOT!
These last months his bh has been working really well.
But we know slice is useful but sometimes he uses too much.

I'd say 7 out of 10

and is not a good slice too
He always say in interviews that he will to slice and slice and slice and I really think that is not a good game strategy against all players.

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

Re: How would you rate his backhand?

I actually think he has a good slice. Is only that sometimes he uses it way too much.

Re: How would you rate his backhand?

he slices quite well when players go to his bh side, sometimes too high bouncing, i really think his bh side has improved soo much!!

I would give him 7.5 almost 8 out of 10

Gaudio º Gonzalez, F º Massu º Murray º Thiem º Nalbandian º Nishikori º Wawrinka

Re: How would you rate his backhand?

7 out of 10.

He does have a nice slice, but as everyone is saying, he uses it too much.

But his forehand...kicks ass!
