Aw... pobre de Fena! Yes, it is sad he didn't win the big award! It's silly to nominate him for 3 years and not give it to him. Fena has a GRAN CORAZON!!

Re: Gonzo Articles and News

It's very a pity for me too, that Fena has not received this award, but it seems to me, he should not be upset because of it . The main thing for him now to concentrate, on the preparation for a next season and on perfection of the skill. And victories as well as every possible awards will come as the prize for its works.

In tennis, as well as in any other sports there is one unwritten rule - The more think of a victory, the further it from you. - The same about awards.

Poor Fernando.

It seems like the rest of the year...always so close but never quite making it. Like being #11, just barely missing out at the top ten.

On Sunday in a sports tv show called "Zoom Deportivo" they chose the best sportmen of the year and Gonzo was in the first place! and also in the newspaper El Mercurio (from Monday) Gonzo was in the first place of the "national sport character" list

Re: Gonzo Articles and News

if one goes to www.tvn.cl and then click in "Deportes" then scroll down a bit and you'll see where it says Zoom Deportivo, click there and you'll be able to see some videos and Fernando should appear in some of those videos - In the first two I guess -

The videos aren't working for me so hope it'll work for some of you

Re: Gonzo Articles and News

Thanks a lot for the news Gonzofan
He appears briefly in the 1st one, but I can't see the second one at the moment. The TVN website is very low.

Re: Gonzo Articles and News

In a poll made by La Tercera (www.latercera.cl) Gonzo was chosen the best sportmen of the year with a 53% of the votes

The great thing about this is that 80 chilean sportmen voted and they chose Fernando as the best of the best of 2005

Congrats to Fernando!!!! he totally deserves to be recognize as the best of the best! and especially by other sportsmen
