I wonder why Groth isnt playing on the harder clay challengers and all these asian hard court challengers if he is wanting to be a top 100 player he should adapt his game for the clay too... although easier said then done lol

I think he has accepted that hes never really going to be good on clay, his past results are woeful.

The best part of his game gets neutralised too easily on a slow clay court and his backhand is too much of a weakness to have to hit 7 or 8 shots to win rallies on a consistent basis, mostly all of the guys will expose it.

Yeah im sure he will definitely play the French open qualies, prize money is good, they use fast balls which he can use to his advantage and theres always a chance he draws another clay mug.
