Defend your title!!!!!

Travis could still be planning to show up and sign in for the doubles, but its hard to say at this point if he would fly all the way to China without having a partner lined up already. Guess we'll know on Saturday when they do the draw.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Re: doubles entry

Good luck Arthurs/Kerr and Montgomery/Phillips

No wonder the GB Davis Cup team can't find a specialist doubles pair, the LTA should be pushing Hilton/Marray 319 or Auckland/Kiernan 317 to play these events and get the experience against some of the best doubles players in the world!

Andy Murray, Jonny Marray
Jamie Baker, Ross Hutchins, Richard Bloomfield, Colin Fleming
Roddick, Goffin, Karlovic, Inglot, Isner
Brown, Brands, Tsonga

The Brits, bar Alan Mackin, prefer to excel at a low level, than gain experience and knowledge, possibly losing early at a high level. Not very wise at all in my opinion, and agree with you whole heartedly. Defo Auckland/Kiernan, I think Mark & Jonny are great, but not so interested in dubs.. They still have their singles careers

Jim Thomas - Max Mirnyi - Jordan Kerr - Rohan Bopanna - Andy Roddick - Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi - Ilia Bozoljac - Chris Haggard - Jan-Michael Gambill - Donald Young - Nathan Healey - Lleyton Hewitt - Jamie Murray - Olivier Rochus - James Blake - Vince Spadea - Tim Henman - John Isner - Travis Parrott - Paul Goldstein - Tim Henman - Wes Moodie - Arnaud Clement - Michael Russell - Jeff Coetzee

Re: doubles entry

Entry system?

I think the China Open is one of the 6 tournaments that will experiment with the new scoring system, but what is this new entry system you speak of?

I am selfish, but if travis is going to Beijing...you know in china, and he will not going to shanghai...I will be mad!
