Re: Tommy news

In other news, next year's Davis Cup draw is out, and Germany will face Austria in the first round. Not particularly easy, but they will play in Germany, which is a good thing. According to sport.de, Kühnen mentioned that Tommy is willing to play.

They could meet Spain in the next round again, this time in Spain. But Spain first has to overcome Serbia ... and I don't know where Germany would play against Serbia, the HtH on the Davis Cup page doesn't really work ...

I'm very surprised about that. But I'd like to see him against Austria.

Well it makes sense in his "part time" kind of plan for the DC. I guess he wouldn't play an outward match against Austria, but at home and probably on a fast surface, and if he feels good, why not.

But the thing is, there are other German players right now who are a little more successful. I think a lot will depend on how Tommy will reemerge on the tour at the end of the season and next year.

Re: Tommy news

Does anyone know when the venue will be announced? I would really like to go to a DC-tie once again...
Especially with Tommy playing!

Nobody knows...But the Germans have always been the last in announcing the location to play. So you'll have to be patient
