Tommy Can't Waltz, But Can He Flamenco? Masters Series Madrid - 10/16-22, 2006

This is the Tournament Tommy is going to play after Vienna. And for once we won't be waiting on Tommy to be playing because Vienna and Madrid are back to back Tournaments

Sorry I couldn't resist And I totally messed up and did a double thread on this Tournament anyway
I sent a PM to Neely to get her to straight it out, but I haven't seen her around lately. I wonder if Tommy does dance and no I don't mean the Flamenco or the Waltz?

Tommy is seeded 13th in Madrid so he has a Bye in r1. He will meet Monfils or Hrbaty in r2... IF he wins it ( ), he will face most likely Nadal... another great draw for him...

GOOOO:

Tommy Haas & Andre Agassi

also good luck:

Kiwi, Gonzo, Henman, Baggy, Srichaphan, Ben. Becker, Grammy, Mirnyi & all the Germans except Larsi

Madrid Masters

Tommy will be playing in the Madrid Masters which is played on Indoor Hard. Tommy is Seeded 13th. Because Tommy is a Seed, he will receive a Bye into the Second Round. In the Second Round, Tommy will either face Gael Monfils or Dominik Hrbaty. Tommy will possibly play 2nd Seed Rafael Nadal.

If Tommy makes it all the way, the and higher ranked players make it through, here are the players who Tommy will face throughout the Madrid Masters.

R1 - Bye
R2 - Dominik Hrbaty
R3 - (2) Rafael Nadal
QF - (6) Andy Roddick
SF - (3) Ivan Ljubicic
F - (1) Roger Federer

Focusing on the Second Round match, Tommy leads the H2H against Hrbaty 7-4 with Tommy having won their last encounter in the Los Angeles Semi Finals in the US Summer Hardcourt Season this year. Tommy leads the Hardcourt H2H against Hrbaty 3-2.

Gael Monfils leads the H2H against Tommy 1-0 after Gael defeated Tommy 6-2 3-6 6-4 in Rome 2006. Tommy would still remain the favourite if he played Gael because Tommy is a far better player on Hardcourt than Monfils. Gael is out of form at the moment so it wouldn't surprise me if Tommy had a comfortabe victory.

Good Luck Tommy
