Re: Tommy in England--WIMBLEDON-- Auf Geht's!

I see it coming ... no further withdrawal, Tommy not seeded, and a first round against Roger. Would fit in nicely with the drama that is the career of Thomas Mario Haas.

That would suck. After his success in Paris ... I would hate to see Roger drop out of Wimby in the first round.

Btw, with the seeding now having taken place, is it fixed, no changes even if there's a last minute withdrawal?

Seeds could still be changed until the draw is made, at least that seems common sense to me.

Yeah, I read into that myself just now. He may not be an official seed (?), but slip into the #32 spot in the draw, which is all the point, anyway ...

Re: Tommy in England--WIMBLEDON-- Auf Geht's!

So close.

I have found something on GM about the seeds.

"If a top 16 seed pulls out after draw is made and before OOP is issued for Day 1
the Number 17 replaces him in the draw, number 33 replaces 17 and LL replaces
the gap where 33 was

If a top 32 seed pulls out after draw is made and before OOP is issued for Day 1
Number 33 replaces him and LL replaces the gap where 33 was

ONCE OOP is Issued
LL replaces the seed who withdrew even if it is Nadal"

Everything sounds good but that ''if'' word worries me

Re: Tommy in England--WIMBLEDON-- Auf Geht's!

At least that means there's still a chance until the day 1 OOP gets released, that's something.

Ah yes the last thing is what happened to LL replacing Federer in Halle right?
So we have to prey someone pulls out before first OOP gets released
In 2 days we'll know if Nadal'll be able to play...

And if no one pulls out, i think it's time that Tommy (and we) is lucky with the draw for once!!
