I hope he'll play first of all! It's doubtful right now because of his shoulder problems...

problems with spacebar?

Tommy will not repeat his result from last year even if he plays and will lose points in ranking

Re: How-will-Tommy-Haas-fare-in-US-open

Does anyone have details about Tommy's shoulder?

Like everyone else, I'd really like to see him get back to 100% health.

US Open Draw is out...not bad for Tommy if he's healthy.

R1: Qualifier
R2: Qualifier or Becker
R3: maybe Baghdatis

Re: How-will-Tommy-Haas-fare-in-US-open

Thanks Carlita.

Provided he is able to play, making it into the 3rd round is a must. Who knows, maybe he'll do that by defeating two fellow country men (see RG 2006). First a german Qualifier, followed by Becker.
Bagdhatis would already be a very tough test.

Re: How-will-Tommy-Haas-fare-in-US-open

There was a german chat with Tommy at tennis-germany.de one hour ago!

Tommy will decide at the weekend if he plays or not. Doc Eder is coming from Munich to treat him...I guess he'll try it next week.

Re: How-will-Tommy-Haas-fare-in-US-open

Yes he'll try it.

First opponent is Darcis who played well in july, but he's better on clay imo.

Go Tommy!

Course he will play. He played Wimbledon half injured. Hes got points to defend here.

He will probably go out in the 3rd round since he'll probably play Baghdatis half injured, if he gets there.

Re: How-will-Tommy-Haas-fare-in-US-open

He is starting and I hope he can play without shoulder pain. Stevie at the first round is not so easy as opponent, I hope he is fine to play and take him easy in three or four sets.

AUF GEHT TOMMY!
