And Kimmy lost her match, 7-5 in the third.

God what a shitty day.

And, what the hell, just to round it out:

Roddick leads Corretja 6-4, 6-1, 2-1
Chela leads Henman 6-3, 6-3

Well, I'm here. I had a fitful night. Woke up several times and actually had a dream in which he won. I guess I just need to wake up from this one.

I'm so depressed right now I better start working right away and not think about tennis at all (not bloody likely though).

I'm sorry I wasn't there to share your pain and comfort you, but on the other hand, I'm glad I slept through it, even though I didn't have much hope when I went to bed.

Almost all of my faves went out tonight. Juanqui Timmy Alex Greg: Kimmy And guess who rocks on: Younes, Andy and Pete. I almost don't care anymore, except I want to see Tommy win.

The US Open now officially sucks. Big time.

I'll go get some breakfast now.

Leo, I can't wait for your full report. I want to know exactly why Juanqui lost. But I'm glad to see you enjoyed at least some of the matches. And Max won. But Roger lost.

Ahhh, good, we're all pissing on the Open today. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Only at the Open could so many players fall in one night--because only they would be stupid enough to schedule the matches the way they did!

My only hope is Daniela, and she plays Serena tonight Kimmy is still in doubles, and Max Mirnyi won, he's in the quarterfinals!

I HATE HATE HATE HATE the Open. Grrrrrrr.

Yup, I hate the Open too. But what's done is done. It just makes me appreciate Roland Garros all the more. I can now safely say that it was my favorite slam this year (and any year really ) by a cosmic mile, whatever that means.

I can keep cheering for Tommy and Lindsay.

Poor Daniela, I'll cheer for her as well. How is her finger?

Well, the US Open has finished now for most of us, so we'd better forget about it and look forwards! We have to be optimistic!

Good luck in the next tourneys Juanqui!

By the way, there's a rumour about Juanqui's new hair color for the next weeks... Oh! Look at this! Juanqui in green!
