Hi TH

I just thought the story is really funny, and great fun to read. I mean, we can say all day how much we like JC, but writing a story about him is something. And all those songs.

I started feeling bad for Alex though, afterall, he is a great person in real life.

BTW, I fell down laughing every time I read the commentation session. It's so Pat and Cliff. The best way to take revenge on the enemy is to mock them.

So true, Vera. TennisHack's mock commentaries are brilliant.

If you feel sorry for Alex now, just wait what I have in store for him next, hehehe. I know he's a good guy in real life, I'm just trying to change his image a bit.

Oh, pls don't change him on my account. That's why is fun to read because you never know what's gonna happen.

I'm sure you already thought up your story line so I really don't mean that I will have any influence on the story. So, don't mind me.

What a down day, with no tennis at the moment.

LOL I know what you mean. But multi-tasking is almost an essential skill these days, so it's always good to practice.

I wish the rain would just desist though. I can't take this tennis vacuum.

Oh and I don't have the storyline prepared in advance, except this bit about Alex's next move. I just write what comes to me at the moment. And since it's a duet, the storyline changes with every new installment and we have to adjust accordingly. It's really a lot of fun. But input is appreciated, so don't worry about influencing me.

Somehow, it's like a childhood dream for me to be a writer, but when I actually try to sit down and write something, there's not much ink in me. But if I do have something to say about the story, I'll speak up.

Ya, too bad about the tennis. My wish is that they will resume play soon because it's great that they scheduled Moya at tonite's TV session and it will be such a shame if his match is delayed.

I'm still mad that in French Open, the whole day TV coverage of the QF is washed away by rain. Hence, I didn't get to see JC playing Agassi at all because they didn't cover it the next day. I was so mad. I heard JC was invincible that match. It would have been a great taped collection.

The hardest thing about writing is the beginning. Once you get the first few words out of the way, ideas just follow. You shouldn't give up such a wonderful dream. If you dream of being a writer, than you know you got it in you, you just need to open the gate. And I'm not much of a writer. I just like to day-dream.

That's too bad about Ferrero/Agassi match. I'm so sorry. It was a classic. I still have it taped somewhere.

What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

So true. So many time I pick up my pen, just don't know how to begin. But it's okay, I have plenty of time to make this dream come true. Thanks for the encouragement.

So can I ask you a question? How many languages do you speak? I wish I know more, I'm planning to learn French, but then I also want to learn spanish I though it's cool that European knows some many languages usually.

Well, not as many as I would like. I speak Slovene, obviously, Croatian, English and a little bit of French (I took French for 4 years at school but forgot everything ) I intend to learn Spanish too. It's such a wonderful language. Oh and I understand some German too, just by occasionally watching tennis on German channels.

Thanks for the comments on the commentaries, even though I honestly don't see it. That's a good thing, I guess, because I'm not conscious of what's so drop-down funny so I can't try too hard and ruin it.

And actually, the storyline is not your prototypical storyline, that's what's so great about a tandem story, you never know what you have to work with As Layla said, it's half the fun! And reader comments are always appreciated.

Just wanted to say that I agree with what Layla said, and also: don't be afraid to totally steal someone's writing style when you begin. Goodness knows I did When you start writing, getting a feel for how you want the words to sound (sometimes it helps to read it aloud), you depart from the stolen style and find your own.

That's a great advice TH.

I think it stopped raining now. They're drying the courts. Hopefully, we'll get to see some tennis today.
