This is a convo I could get into

I didn't like highschool at all I got sick of having to deal with fake clans of totally unoriginal people who for some reason *thought* they were really special

It really annoyed me for some reason

They were all nice to me cause I was one of the "smart kids" and you have to be nice to them so they will work with you on stuff

But I was SO glad to get out of there.

In university I just dont' associate with people like that who look down on me because I'm not wearing enough Gap to please their senses.

Like Tennishack said you are a lot more independant.

I made a LOT of mistakes last year (1st year) and am basically starting totally over again, but it learned a lot about myself.

Good luck

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

It jsut reall bothers me when people are nice to you, because you are "useable".

I run into people from highschool now who did that to me and they are all buddy buddy with me, and it bothers me. It is one thing to be nice to me, but don't pretend we were best freinds if we hung out all of once

maybe i'm just bitter.

I just have a big problem with people who think as a clan, and can't break away from it.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Just don't go overboard. That's something I have observed *a lot*. When some people get out from under their mother's thumb, they go to the other extreme--binge drinking, failing classes, becoming addicted to prescription pills.

Not everyone is like that, mind you, but a lot of people are fucked up and you just kinda have to deal with it . . . Find your own group of friends and you're ready to rock

I didn't understand the popularity politics, either, but I could see beyond the petty shit they held as their god. Of course, I never knew about anything that happened, but I figured it was a fair tradeoff.

Yes, I absolutely hate seeing people I graduated with (besides my friends). I ran into someone that I absolutely abhorred in high school and she was all "Hi! How are you?!" Coincidentally, this was the same person who more or less ruined the junior high experience for me
