Watch out for the Vienna points, which come off next week.

Re: Ranking Watch

Depending on how he does in Metz this week, and how Nieminen does in Tokyo, JC could move up to #16.

What would Anderson say?

Re: Ranking Watch

JC will move up to #16 on Monday. Unless Djokovic wins the title in Metz.

That's twice he's moved up the rankings after losing in the first round. Keep up the good work JC.

Too bad the same won't be able to happen next week in Vienna.

What would Anderson say?

Re: Ranking Watch

JC should just lose in the first round of every tournament. He'll work his way up to number 1 in no time at all without lifting a finger.

Re: Ranking Watch

Uh-oh, looks like Djokovic might win the tournament after all.

JC needs to be in the top 16 for Madrid, otherwise he won't get a bye.

Not good enough. He needs to be top 16 for Madrid.

Hope that somebody withdraws.

Re: Ranking Watch

Is that confirmed?

Stepanek must have a serious injury. I believe he hasn't played since Wimbledon (since that extremely annoying 5-set match with you-know-who).

I thought he was out for the rest of the season, can't remember where I read it though.
