JC's quarter in AO.....these are the players he might face to reach the semis...of these 32 players, 2 have beaten him in his 7 match losing streak, most of them are great servers.....what do u think of his chances???

Q. As the older player, you don't feel like it's your role to go up to the younger players and talk to them first?

Re: JC's Quarter in AUSOPEN Draw!!!

The draw isn't terribly kind to him, but at least it's not as brutal as some of the others... He's facing a couple of huge servers, but i think he'll be ok as they're gonna knock each other out, like verkerk and phlippoussis. I think if he plays well, he will make to the Qrt [hopefully he can go further]. He's in the same Qrt as Coria, but coria is not really great physical with the injury and all, so i think he will make it through..

As some ppl have said, he's not playing badly or anything, just a bit unlucky to lose first round in sydney. The wins in Hongkong should give him some confidence and despite the lack of preparation enroute to the aus open, i think he's in there with a fair chance.

A lot of big servers!! Rusedski, Verkerk, Phillippoussis, Mirnyi etc. but as JeLulia88 has said, they'll knock each other out.... There're 4 Spaniards in this part of the draw..No Americans though.... Well anyway, Good Luck Juanqui!!

i think he can beat big servers if he's in a good day. he beat verkerk at rg. but latley he's been having problems against them. roddick and now guccione beat him thanks to their serves ( not only but most). I'm not pessimistic, I can actually say, it's a quite an ok draw for JC.

I suck at TT so there's no reason to brag with my 1st round exits :retard:

Re: JC's Quarter in AUSOPEN Draw!!!

Yup, if they both get that far
i really dont think jc's quarter is as tough as some of the other one but his does have a lot of big servers like u guys mentioned so i think as long as he plays better tennis he'll do well.
GOOD LUCK JC!!!!
