I read a quote from an article and JCF said that they only played one rally during this whole match and since JCF is best at rallying, i guess it's "right" to lose to the better server... but that means Guccione probably served really really well... JCF also said he wasn't too disappointed, which is good! Good luck at AO!!
I don't it's too worrying for him to lose to Guccione, as he said he didn't play badly and wasn't really disappointed. Doubt that it's gonna affect his aus open campaign b/c i think he'll do well... let's hope the draw is kind to him
The reason why Guccione won is a) his serve b) his "nothing-to-lose" attitude c) because Ferrero probably underestimated him/didn't expect he'd win at all d) his luck.
So, having the news that Guccione lost in the next round to Wayne, I really think that he'd have to have a little bit more of the four above points (however, the third would now be obsolete considering his win over the World No.3), to get more successes.
Sorry was a little slow in keeping up about this tourny..
Well, I'm a little disappointed that Juanqui lost in the first round. By the way, who's this Guccione, from what u guys have said, he's another guy with a booming serve??Oh well.... since Juanqui isn't really disappointed, I hope he does well in AO. Is there any way that Juanqui can defeat these big-servers??!?
