Count me in hehe. Tennis is more and more about power and how hard you hit the ball.

Seeing them hit ace after ace and still losing to Fed?

What would Anderson say?

I agree. That's why I like clay...you can't win with just a big serve (although how that weirdo Verkerk ever got to the RG finals I'll never know ), you do have to have a game plan and know how to construct points as you say, Trace.

It's also why JC took down Ivo so easily in Barcelona.

What would Anderson say?

Whoa Trace that was very deep. Of course I'm going to agree with you at this moment in time, mainly because I'm developing a hatrid for Guccione & his big serving.

But JCB, honestly?

I really wanted to change my av, I did you know. But time after time, you leave me no other option but to call you a muppet. And this time it's not in an endearing way

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

that match was f****g horrible. JC did everything right, and this guy just served, and served, and served, and served. Best server i've even seen. And he's ugly as all hell too, i mean they should kick him off the circuit. What fun is tennis and watching tennis if all you see is serving. Thats practise, not matchplay. Guccione is a crappy player too, it was like if JC could return the serve, he'd win the point. Guccione was almost helpless on JC's serve. It was a horrible match, but at least JC looked bludy gorgeous *as always*

JUAN CARLOS FERRERO

Juan Monaco, Tommy Robredo, Fernando Gonzalez, Juan Martin Del Potro, David Ferrer, Guillermo Garcia Lopez, Juan Ignatio Chela, Fernando Verdasco, Carlos Moya, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Lucas Arnold Ker, Nicolas Lapentti

I agree, completely. Just a server, nothing else to give him credit for. And Todd and JA were saying he was the next big thing for Australia! Ugh. (Oh except I sort of thought JC needed a haircut :P My brother can be heard saying he looks like a girl )

Cheering for Juan Carlos, Igor, Richie, GGL, Sebastien, Carlos, Marat, Tommy and Rafael!

LOL!! Next time I see Guccione on tv ( if I ever will ), I'm just gonna switch the channel.

I just found out that Guccione is 200 cm and he
-consistently served over 200kmh
-won 91 per cent of points on his first serve
-clocked a highest speed of 222kmh
in the match against Juanqui.

All Guccione does is serve and serve. Pure madness!

Wisht you

I can't handle big servers, and apparently - neither can JCB. They irritate the hell outta me if a big serve is all they use. Granted, there are some big servers who have game but otherwise, they wreck me focking head.

Someone give that boy a crash course in playing big servers!

your point being? I like Andy for his all-round game which isn't just serving & his deadly personality. And the fact that he didn't just beat JC today

Apart from a few backhand errors from JC he played really, really well, and it really was very close, especially in the third, like the score suggests.
Thanks for that Trace
Good to know that he is playing well. I just hope that he can repeat Melbourne 2004, when he reached the semis after losing to Guccione.
