JC is probably going to be #18 after this week, but the seeds for Paris are going to be determined by the rankings of October 30th (the week after Basel). At this point, as long as JC is #17 after Basel (Gasquet is out of Paris already) he'll be seeded in Paris and receive a first round bye.

What would Anderson say?

Federer is out, Safin probably too. Maybe Nadal wants to rest...

Juanqui's early exit this week will give him more energy to expend in Basel! JC really needs to make it to Shanghai as an alternate....

JC could get screwed out of a seed for Paris, one more time by Ginepri.

What would Anderson say?

Sorry to say he screwed himself by losing in R1 of Madrid...
