looks like Ferrero will be busy in the first half of 2003. but too bad he's not playing Estoril again this year.

"Ferrero's going to be a tough one for anybody. This guy is the real deal already. He's got a chance at going a long, long way. This guy could be the best Spanish player ever; that's saying something." - John McEnroe, June 2000

Thanks for the schedule TH! He does appear to be quite busy, but all I want to know is whether he will come to Umag. I hope Eurosport shows Dubai like last year. That's when I finally crowned Juanqui as the king of my favorites, so it will be an anniversary of sorts. It's ironic that this took place during a match with his nemesis, Younes.

VAMOS JUANQUI!!!

(wow, haven't said that in a while)

What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

Ferrero became my #1 fave after Pat Rafter retired at the end of 2001. Juan Carlos had been one of my top players for a couple years but didn't become my #1 until 2002..

Same here. I mean, Pat's been my #1 since he came on the scene. And Juanqui is my #2 ever since I saw him in RG 2000. He became my #1 when Pat retired. But I think I love my #1 more now then when Pat was my #1 .

I'm glad that he dropped Estoril.

The last couple seasons he hasn't been 100% during the clay season - dropping one tournament will give him more rest, and allow him to focus his energy on the more important tournaments.

As for when he became my fave - he just gradually grew on me in 2000. There isn't really one day that stands out, heh.

I never had any faves before him.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

yeah, same for me. even if Pat did come back to the tour, Ferrero would still be my #1.

Juanqui became my fave during RG 2000. It was the first tennis match I've watched on tv and he's been my #1 fave ever since. I have other people that I root for .. but no one comes close to JCF.
