The 'No Chicken Pox This Year Plz!' Indian Wells Thread

ah...indian wells.....brings back memories...

unfortunately, there bad memories

yep, it was almost a year ago that jc decided to get chicken pox...ok well he didn't decide to get chicken pox but the fact of the matter is he got them and he should shoot whoever gave them to him. (i'm a peaceful person really )

so since he ain't playing the first round of the davis cup, this is his next tournament, starting next monday 7th march. isnt this the one with the huge 128 draw??

well anyway, is it too much to ask if jc can have a nice draw? plz??

since hes got zilch points to defend the only way from 97th is up my friend!!

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

One muppet, who wishes to remain anonymous, has this to say: "You know, I uhhhh cannot stay all the time at the you know, base of the line. Too much uhhhh pression."

It is your turn to help - The "Save A Muppet Foundation" needs you!

Good luck JC!! We believe in you. You proved at Dubai that you can compete with the best. Now take that confidence and make your mark at Indian Wells! You can do it ...

Well, you can't really catch chicken pox twice... the chances are really low. And I think the second time, it's shingles, which are much worse.

So if he does get the shingles, that would be the most ridiculously bad luck.... I think this year should be ok for him. 128 draw? That IS huge....

I was just thinking that..... looks like Tommy is the only one with a "nice" draw... if there ever is such a thing as a nice draw I think the entire draw sucks! I mean..Poor Fer!!! Second round Ducky waiting....now you don't want THAT!!!

And maybe Moya - JC

Re: The 'No Chicken Pox This Year Plz!' Indian Wells Thread

Well I'm trying to think positive since any draw is potentially a tough one for Juanqui.

1. Andreev is not good on hardcourt yet, so hopefully Juanqui can beat him.

2. Carlos hasn't played well since he won Chennai at the beginning of the year, plus he's been playing on clay in S America lately.

3. Grosjean has been in a slump lately and just played on clay for DC where he lost both his matches. And if it's Ferrer who comes through, he's not the greatest on hardcourt--Juanqui's got much more experience.

4. PimPim will be a challenge, but if Juanqui gets this far, he should be in a groove and gaining confidence...so who knows?

VAMOS JUANQUI!!!!

Hopp Rogi! Go Gonzo! Allez Gasquet!

"He's so charismatic." - Marcos Baghdatis
