'Ranking Ain't Nothing But A Number' Rotterdam Thread

so after that loss to pim pim @ marseille, jc is on to rotterdam next where hopefully he'll get a nicer draw *hint hint* rotterdam draw people!

im so mad this tournament gets wicked coverage on sky sports but i'm not gonna see any of it cos im off on a school trip skiing in italy on monday - in fact id rather stay at home and watch the tennis

so thoughts on this tournament people?? hes got a helluva lot of points to defend but we wont talk about that cos as the title says 'ranking ain't nothing but a number'

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

No, you're wrong too. Davis Cup is a tournament too isn't it? Thats one title for 2004. Thats one title Roger Federer will probably never win. I really hope he does well here, he deserves a break.

JUAN CARLOS FERRERO

Juan Monaco, Tommy Robredo, Fernando Gonzalez, Juan Martin Del Potro, David Ferrer, Guillermo Garcia Lopez, Juan Ignatio Chela, Fernando Verdasco, Carlos Moya, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Lucas Arnold Ker, Nicolas Lapentti

Re: 'Ranking Ain't Nothing But A Number' Rotterdam Thread

1 - hong kong was an exhibition tournament which dosent count for squat in the rankings

2 - neither does dc, although that was a welcome change even though he didnt win it by himself

Re: 'Ranking Ain't Nothing But A Number' Rotterdam Thread

DC was actually more humiliating for JC than anything else (thanks to the G3)...most of the time he was pissed off and angry so I don't count it as being a great experience for him
