nothing looks as awesome as an expression of satisfaction and triumph on juanqui's face

why is it easier to hurt someone with words than with deeds?

Here they are (not many):

I wish I'd taken a photo of him celebrating after the match but I was too busy cheering and jumping.

Thanks for the photos, Jimnik! Were you in one of the front rows?

I hope, but if JC keeps playing this well then it'll be hard to stay calm.
Also the weather forecast for Monday doesn't look good. But for sure these moments don't come around too often so it would be nice to get a snapshot when they do happen. When JC retires, these are the images that we'll want to see and remember.

I was in Row H, quite close to the front, behind the umpire's chair. It was nice and I was almost tempted, at the end of the match, to run down to the front to verbally congratulate JC on his performance. But, alas, I was too busy celebrating with the random Spanish fan sitting next to me.

Well, promise me that on Monday, you eschew those 'random Spanish' fans in favour of verbally congratulating Juanqui!

Re: The Picture Thread

Those pictures are heartwarming. And go on Jimnik, talk to him. He's so lovely and easy to talk to. Some players make you feel like you're committing a crime by talking to them, but JC feels like someone you've known your whole life because he's so friendly. Don't be shy!!!

If he wins, I'll do it. I promise.

I just hope I pick the right day.

Re: The Picture Thread

The Met weather office has removed the severe weather warning for the rest of the week, so fingers crossed that you get to see Juanqui Monday!
